Focusing on the tender love of Matoi and Mia, a couple of teenagers who bravely explore life after having moved from the small island of Amami to the hectic city of Tokyo, the series is actually a selfportrait once again. Through their innocent unity and their longing for the natural surroundings they have left behind, I actually portray the sweet bitterness of the first love I am experiencing and my own longing for a countryside that I consciously left behind on a quest for myself, the same countryside I subconsciously long for everyday.
